Flagperson

The Flag person course is designed by The Alberta Construction Safety Association and studies the following areas

• Train workers who have no prior knowledge or experience in flagging
• Teach the flag persons responsibilities for the protection of co-workers and the general public
• Identifying the correct flagging practices and procedures, equipment and clothing
• How to communicate with co-workers and the general public
• The importance of the flag station and the flag person’s location
• How to deal with emergency vehicles
  Participants who successfully meet the course requirements will be issued a Flag person certificate. This course has no expiry
